An all rounder in organizational effectiveness, change communications and process improvement and able to  to effectively navigate and implement strategic programs. . Raksha is has a Masters of Science Degree in Organizational Development and Social and Organizational Learning has lived the  complexities of change programs both in-house working with multiple stakeholders in complex environments and as a consultant. She has participated hands on in all aspects of the full life-cycle of an enterprise-wide change program that included the development/roll out of an enterprise portal to 14 operating groups, 55 locations and 60,000-90,000 employees. She led requirements generation workshops with critical stakeholders, set expectations & alignment across corporate functions to ensure system & process viability. As a liaison from the program,  she built strong relationships with all functions (e.g. HR, L&D, IT and the office of the CEO to ensure change program alignment/sustainability.  She worked with development teams, performed usability studies, defined information architecture and governance models and performed change management activities to ensure system adoption & institutionalization.  Finally she led migration & transition activities and mobilized critical processes and supporting resources (such as help desk) during critical periods.

Innovation and Knowledge Management

Raksha joined CSC’s Global Knowledge Management Services and served in several capacities aimed at deploying & institutionalizing knowledge sharing and collaborative communities as a key competitive differentiator for the company.  She also played a key role as a Communities of Practice Program Lead throughout the design, development & roll-out of CSC’s new enterprise portal deploying the key infrastructure from which to instill knowledge sharing practices across the organisation. She developed a three tiered collaboration & communities operating model, supporting governance structures - later recognised by analysts as best practice.  She worked with development/content teams & other key  corporate functions. She led change, training and documentation efforts & chaired the committee of responsible for deploying change and instilling new expected behaviours.

Raksha earned her Masters Degree with a speciality in Knowledge Management and Organizational Development. She  participated in the Federal KM working groups and wrote written papers and conducted many research projects focused on Behavioural and Organizational COI participation. She is known as thought leader in the global KM community and held Board roles and the Chapter President of the Greater DC Region for several years. She supported efforts towards developing transparent and fair standards for global KM certification establishing a Certification Board and was one of the first globally to become a Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) and Certified Knowledge Environment Engineer (CKEE).
